KP Proformance was founded in early 2025 by Kyle Passerini. The company is dedicated to the development and production of Ford 6.2L Performance parts. After the explosive early success of the “Ford 6.2 Boss Race parts and swaps” group, which was also started by Kyle Passerini to gauge interest in what he was doing, it was obvious early on that the community wanted more options and support for the 6.2 Boss. KP Proformance was established to make that desire a reality, and to be a one-stop shop for 6.2 Boss Performance parts and support.

 

Kyle Passerini has been an automotive Technician for 20+ years and has been building and racing Fords for just as long. In 2013, while working as a tech at a Ford dealership, he had the opportunity to tear down a 2013 Ford Raptor 6.2 Boss engine that a customer had damaged using a homemade turbo kit combined with a very bad tune, and realized what a beast of a race motor the 6.2 could be. From the deep skirt block & 6 bolt Mains to the hemispherical cylinder heads, and the close resemblance to the Ford 427 cammer, it was like the drag racing powers at be had designed it themselves. He was sure it wouldn’t be long until some of the big-name companies would start offering 6.2 performance parts.

 

After years of waiting and nothing being done about this diamond in the rough of a power plant, Kyle’s patience had come to an end, and he decided he was going to do what others had not. In February of 2025, He created the “Ford 6.2 Boss Race parts and swaps” Facebook group to see if anyone else felt the same way, and the 6.2 performance community was born. Design and development started with Camshafts, Intake manifolds, Rocker arms, Holley Wiring harnesses, Billet steel & Aluminum Stroker Connecting rods, oil pans, and more. Within 6 months, the 6.2 went from a motor that had minimal performance options to having every option! This is just the beginning.
